Decisions adopted by the Board of the Financial Supervisory Authority

Bucharest, 03 April 2024 – At today's meeting, the Council of the Financial Supervisory Authority (ASF) adopted measures on the functioning of the supervised non-bank financial markets - insurance, capital market and private pensions, as follows:

A)  Regulation

ESMA's notification of the intention of the A.S.F. to apply the provisions of the Guidelines on stress test scenarios under the MMF Regulation (ESMA50-43599798-9011);      

The Draft Rule for the application of the ESMA Guidelines on Reporting under EMIR (the draft will be published on www.asfromania.ro for public consultation for 10 days);

The Draft Regulation amending and supplementing A.S.F. Regulation no. 7/2020 on the authorization and operation of alternative investment funds (the draft will be published on www.asfromania.ro for public consultation for 10 days);

B)  Authorisation

Approval of Mr. Georgios Kefalas for a new mandate as member of the Board of Directors of Eurolife FFH Asigurări Generale S.A.;  

Approval of Mr. Georgios Kefalas for a new mandate as member of the Board of Directors of Eurolife FFH Asigurări De Viață S.A.;  

Approval of Mr. Robert Grigore for a new mandate as Deputy General Manager of Signal Iduna Asigurări S.A.;   

Approval of the application of BT Asset Management SAI S.A. for:

- authorisation of the change in the organisation and functioning of BT Asset Management SAI S.A. following the change in the composition of the Board of Directors by appointing Mr. Bernat Aurel as member of the Board of Directors;

- authorisation of Mrs. Runcan Luminița Delia as a member of the Board of Directors following her appointment for a new mandate.

Approval of the endorsement of Amendment No. 2 to BAAR's Policies and Procedures for the management of MTPL insurance applicable to high risk policyholders;

Approval of amendments to the Articles of Incorporation of Millenium Insurance Broker (M.I.B.) S.A. (appointment of new internal financial auditor and extension of the mandate of the external financial auditor);         

Approval of amendments to the Articles of Incorporation of Netgroup Insurance Reinsurance Broker S.R.L. (transfer of shares, sole shareholder); 

Approval of the application for final approval of the amendment to the Memorandum of Association for the Voluntary Pension Fund Aegon Esențial, managed by Carpathia Pensii - Societate de Administrare a Fondurilor de Pensii Private S.A.;    

Approval of the application for prior approval of the amendment to the Prospectus of the voluntary pension scheme for the Voluntary Pension Fund BRD Medio, managed by BRD Societate de Administrare a Fondurilor de Pensii Private S.A.;

Approval of the application of S.A.I. Star Asset Management S.A. for the authorisation of the amendments to the Rules of the Alternative Investment Fund Star Value.
